Stamp Of Approval? Get Postage Right From Home

Web Site Lets You Print, Manage Postage

With gas prices skyrocketing and fueling the need to cut road time down to a more palatable level, wouldn't it be better if you could cut out some of your more mundane errands?

As a member of Stamps.com, you can mark at least one thing off of your to-do list: making a trip to the Post Office.

And running out of stamps -- which which can happen at the most inconvenient times -- would be a thing of the past.

If you have a computer, a printer and an internet connection, you can print sheets of stamps, shipping labels and international postage. You can even print postage directly onto envelopes.

Stamps.com, an approved licensed vendor of the United States Postal Service, provides convenience for more than just the individual looking to save those precious minutes of the day. Many others, such as smaller companies, entrepreneurs and online sellers, can also benefit from the service.

Users can sign up for a four-week trial that includes a free postage offer and supplies kit. The supplies kit includes a five-pound digital scale. "You'll never overpay or underpay for postage again," the Web site says.

A user then only needs to set up a postage account and pay a monthly fee of $17.99. Whenever a user prints postage, the amount is deducted from the account. And Stamps.com calculates the postage amount for you.

A user can import delivery addresses from popular address books and contact management software, including MS Outlook and QuickBooks. Users also can track packages and view postage history.

Whether you want to save on gas, save on time, or simply avoid the annoyance of having to stand in line at the Post Office, Stamps.com can help.
