Schultz Drops Lawsuit Against OKC NBA Team

OKLAHOMA CITY -- The Seattle Times reported Friday night that Starbucks executive and former Seattle Supersonics owner Howard Schultz has dropped his lawsuit against the Oklahoma City NBA franchise.The suit was intended to reverse his 2006 sale of the basketball team to an ownership group led by Clay Bennett.Schultz' suit had been scheduled to go to trial in the summer of 2009, but a pair of recent rulings from Judge Marsha Pechman did nothing to raise his confidence that his suit had any chance.
