JiaoJiao is thrilled to join such a dedicated news team at KOCO. You can see her bright and early in the mornings, reporting for the morning show during the week and anchoring the weekend morning newscasts.

JiaoJiao comes to Oklahoma City from another tornado-ridden state, Kansas. She served as morning anchor in Topeka, so waking up before the crack of dawn is nothing new to her.

During her four years in the Sunflower State, JiaoJiao never saw a tornado, something she is sure will change soon. While in Topeka, JiaoJiao helped develop the new mid-day show for her station. That show received a Kansas Association of Broadcaster's Award after just one year on the air. She was also voted one of the top television personalities by the local newspaper.

JiaoJiao graduated cum laude from the University of Missouri in Columbia. She got her start there as a State Capitol reporter for KBIA radio in Columbia, and KMOX radio in St. Louis. She also served as a reporter/fill-in anchor for KOMU-TV in Columbia.

When she's not working, you can probably catch JiaoJiao running. She completed her first marathon in Denver in 2006 and can't wait to start the grueling task of training for another. You may also see her getting walked by her two adorable dogs, Penny, a jack russell terrier, and Toulouse, a Japanese Chin.
