Edwards Accuses Opponents Of 'Petty Bickering'
Democratic presidential candidate John Edwards said there was a lot of petty bickering between his rivals during the debate in Myrtle Beach. The former North Carolina senator was in Conway on Tuesday speaking to a crowd of about 300 people gathered in an aging peanut warehouse. He said the petty bickering between Hillary Rodham Clinton and Barack Obama during the debate doesn't help people when there are people who need health care.
Edwards said he thinks there's a disconnect between Washington and the rest of America. He also said that instead of focusing on the ups and downs of Wall Street, the government needs to focus on what's happening in people's lives.
